The KW concept was thought about as early as 1999, when the need for a website which voiced the opinions of a new generation and brought members together online was clearly important. It was only until the devastating earthquake in 2001 which shook our community the hardest that KW began to emerge with its objectives becoming more clear. During this painful time the Kutchi community showed solidarity, support and love rarely seen in previous years. Many youngsters arranged charity events to raise money for the disaster whilst the older generation also contributed in the best ways they knew how. This was a text book example of what a community, regardless of age can do when they come together.

KW's objective is simple, to continue this solidarity, strength and love as a community. In July 2001 KutchiWorld.com was created and since then has become the largest, most successful community website. With over 4000 online members worldwide and thousands of visits per day, our aim to build bridges within the community and beyond has become a real possibility. With a fantastic response from the community and appearances in various newspaper publications, KW has become a household name. To date the KW Group has raised thousands of pounds for charities, sponsored events and helped raise awareness of talented youngsters and professionals. We have worked with celebrities, businesses and community organisations such as the SKLPC.

KW is completely self funded, however those who wish to contribute to the project are welcome to by visiting the "your support" page. We would like thank everyone for their support throughout the years.
